District Director of the St. Albans Office of Local Health

In my role, I lead a team of public health professionals serving the people and communities of Grand Isle and Franklin counties in northwestern Vermont. The St Albans Office of Local Health serves the public through immunizations, WIC nutrition benefits, subject matter expertise in healthy community design, public health nursing in school and community settings, and emergency preparedness. In addition to leading our Local Health team, my work is focused on building strong relationships with community partners to reduce barriers to accessing health and wellness resources. I believe trust-building is the foundation of successful engagement, so I prioritize meeting community partners where they are at and understanding their needs first and foremost.Personally and professionally, I am committed to uncovering and dismantling elements of bias in my thinking and actions, and approach my engagement with others with humility, curiosity and respect.
