SLP currently operates five recovery homes in Utah. Each House represents a remarkably effective and low cost method of preventing relapse from alcohol or drug abuse.All House Residents are in recovery from addiction to drugs and/or alcohol and will include individuals referred from In-Patient Substance Abuse Treatment Centers and the Drug Courts from Salt Lake and Washington Counties. Our housing has an emphasis on helping others connect to a new social network that can provide emotional support and meaning. We focus on life skills, communication, and employment. Our aim is to assist our residents in building new relationships or rebuilding relationships with family and those that are close. Successful and solid early recovery is our goal so that our residents can enjoy a healthy new social and professional network. We are a great choice for anyone who desires stability and a safe place to recover from substance abuse in their past. Statistically, transitional housing offers very low recidivism as compared to other housing solutions.
