I also looked into past case studies within the UK and abroad over the… Show more Final year Dissertation -Urban regeneration and its influence upon crime in the South East of England I firmly believe that the environment around each and everyone of us influences our behaviour.As such I chose to look at the impact of various regeneration projects in, what are classed as deprived areas on the South Coast of England, and their relation to crime statistics in the surrounding area. I also looked into past case studies within the UK and abroad over the last 35 years, and theories of human psychology to build a bigger picture of "behind the scenes" factors. By using a combination of statistics, data provided by the government, and regional information I built up a view of the impact of regeneration projects and their importance to society. Show less
