      For two fglorious years I trained at this beautiful and well known hotel in the heart of knightsbridge in London.It has been a happy and fulfilling experience, and sometimes an hilarious one that taught how to aim high and anything is possible.I represented them at BBC Food & Drink as part of a team and they even help me on my placement in Amsterdam where I met some amazing chefs. Imaging me cant speak dutch working in a 4* restaurant.I learnt so much from Knightsbridge and Holland thats how I manged to take freelance work regularly in order to keep my skills tuned. Show less

      The Rayon D"Or has since changed its name but back in good the days it was my training ground for what was I later to become a Chef de Partie I was commissioned to run one particular area of a restaurant's kitchen. This position found me in kitchens with large numbers of at times agency staff where I delegation of the various kitchen duties specially at Xmas which was essential to its smooth running.       I am fast becoming one a leading Hospitality and Catering for Educational Consultant, delivering unique style of training using mobile devices to organisations across the UK and as far as Australia. As well as training courses and consultancy work, I continue to be an active lecturer.My core areas of training are use of computers, iPads and mobile devices in eduction, ibooks, developing educational resources, effective development and delivery of the hospitality and catering curriculum.I strongly believe that learners and instructors can deploy these devices and resources to enhance the learning experience, access programming and resources where and when they need it, and become confident and resourceful users of this new technology.My training programmes are tailored to reach a wide range of staff in education.I have delivered hospitality and catering training to a range of Educational establishments, sessions for Learning Support staff, Learning Mentors and college tutors. My training has even extended into running a pilot mobile device scheme within a EBD school which entailed trailing iPads within the curriculum and writing their effective use of technology in education departmental development plan. The school is ahead of others testing iPads with students due to the risk of damage, since September, several students have been part in an iPad's loan scheme without incident or damage to the equipment or student. I have already established an approach in which all of their hospitality and humanities courses are created for online and the traditional classroom with year eight students even building an app around their coursework.Before setting up his own training and consultancy business, I was a highly successful chef lecturer who rose the profiles of several colleges and a Head of hospitality in Secondary Education.
