My spreadsheet of employee benefits and wages of over 1,000 employees in the D.H. Homes WARN Act case was adopted by the USDC for the Eastern District of Louisiana and by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in their decisions.   I hired on here as paralegal to Jack Martzell and my work with Jack was strictly in the area of white collar crime. After his untimely death in 2007, I stayed on with the firm and presently assist in the pursuit of asbestosis and mesothelioma claims and work on other personal injury cases. I do all types of research on work sites. I summarize medical records, research disease processes, draft Medical Review Panel submissions, and , and am involved in MDL settlement cases such as the Depuy Hip Implant, Nuvaring, etc. My work of course also includes the various and sundry duties of a paralegal, such as scheduling and summarizing depositions, drafting pleadings and discovery, responding to discovery, etc. Show less
