  Stephen co-founded Tomcat in Jan 1998, and completed a management buy-out 3 years later at which time he became CEO. The business developed innovative computerised patient record systems for heart and lung departments of hospitals. Tomcat grew rapidly to become one of two leading systems world-wide. The company was eventually acquired in April 2008 by Royal Dutch Philips, one of the three leading suppliers of healthcare systems globally.

  General Manager, Cardiac Informatics

  After selling Tomcat Systems to Philips, Stephen stayed on to manage the business and help integrate it into the Philips corporate structure. This was successfully completed in 15 months. During this time, the cardiac system developed by Tomcat was sold into 10 new countries world-wide and the team doubled in size.

  Co-Founder and Chairman

  Thrive.App is an employee engagement and communications SaaS platform which enables non-technical people to create and update a secure mobile application in minutes. The platform is particularly useful for communicating with hard to reach teams who may not have access to emails or intranets. It can be used across an organization, enhancing internal communications, employee engagement, HR, and operational efficiency. Since employees can use the Thrive application on their own mobile devices, they will always have access to valuable information in real-time from anywhere.Clients include Asda, Avis/Budget Group, KLM/Air France, Santos Brasil, Toyota Racing Development, BIFFA, DPD, and dozens of other well-known organizations.
