  I assisted the director in all agency operations. I directed a scattered site homeless shelter program for families and single women in recovery.   I organized coalitions in two New York City communities, East Harlem and Bushwick, to promote and expand federally funded child nutrition programs. I worked in partnership with community organizations, churches, schools, parent groups, elected officials and others to develop a local plan of action to improve the nutrition and well-being of children.
