      CAAP Mentors are responsible for mentoring approximately their cohort of CAAP students under the direction of Continuing Studies staff. Mentors serve as role models for CAAP students interested in following creative paths, and help prepare them for success at SAIC or another college of their choice. Mentors acclimate CAAP students to SAIC, attend multiple CAAP courses through the Early College Program, assist with scheduled program activities and events, coordinate additional field trips and educational experiences, and fortify and strengthen students’ commitment to the program and their work.
