      As International Captain, experienced in Caribbean, European, Central American and South American operations.As Manager of Applied Meteorology, my accomplishments included: - Developed new operational strategies and turbulence avoidance guidelines which reduced Flight Attendant injuries from turbulence on annualized basis saving airline $1.2 million/year. - Creating the industry’s first color turbulence prediction chart for commercial aircrews - Appointed by senior management to chair Delta’s 8-member Turbulence Review Board - Turbulence avoidance research - Interface with Delta Senior Management, FAA, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) - Received Executive Vice-President award for leadership/dedication. - Conducted research and post-incident analysis - Directed six simultaneous and comprehensive projects dealing with turbulence forecasting, observation and turbulence avoidance strategies. During my time at Delta, I also was a Flight Engineer, First Officer, Captain, and Line Check Airman. Show less
