  High School Intern
  Flood's Hall is a non-profit organization located in the Hyde Park area of Chicago. As the high school intern, I was in charge of creating, marketing and managing programs to the age range 13 to 18. I contributed to promotion of other programs of the artist residents who were with Flood's Hall. I contributed to the re-branding of The Torch, an open mic for people of color in the City of Chicago. During the re-branding process, we created the mission for The Torch, which was to give people the opportunity to pick up the torch that their ancestors gave to them. I co-host this open mic with the owner, Joy, for a short period of time. I helped a lot of women-owned and people-of-color-owned businesses during my time at Flood's Hall.
