      Completed a 4 day placement at the Fulton Hogan Melbourne Airport Site. Fulton Hogan are the contractors for Foxtrot Apron Works at Melbourne Airport Site. The work that was carried out was the expansion of the apron at Melbourne Airport in order to provide more aircraft parking and provide a stable and strong base for future expansion.Some of the tasks carried out during the 4 day placement were: Assisting project engineers with site inspections Assisting services team with pipe inspection (storm water, water-main, communication & electrical ducts) Going through drawings and ensuring revised drawings are the current set being used Assisting earthworks team with proof rolls regarding placement of rock Assisting project engineer in marking completed sections of the project Assisting with tendering new contracts Check site for FOD, check whether chemicals are stored in spill trays Entering dockets Show less
