      Bachelor's Thesis - "Understanding the role of acidity/basicity of the hinge binding fragment of kinases"Used a variety of molecular modelling and physiochemical analysis software in order to simulate docking of kinase proteins to their respective ligands. The docking results were used to gather the coordinates of the ligand in a docked state, binding energy, Ki, and pKa values

      Worked at the Chair of Proteomics (Kuster Lab)2 Month Internship Project - "Identifying high confidence substrate sites for receptor tyrosine kinases" Attempted to account for missing data in Phosphosite plus. Experimentally generated drug perturbation data was used to identify potential phosphosites in common kinases involved in cancer pathways. Results were used to fine tune kinase scoring in the lab.Continued to work at lab for my Master's Thesis - "Development of Methods for Identification of Oncogenic Alterations present in Cancer Patient Proteomes"Cancer patient data was used to develop methods for identification of oncogenic SNPs and fusion proteins. Data analysis was performed using R and Python along with data visualizations. Results helped determine blind spots in the bridge between genomic data and proteomic data within the lab, along with showing potential for the use of the methods in precision oncology. Show less Internship Project at the Section of Population Genetics (Tellier Lab)"Population Structure and Genetic Variation of Plasmodium vivax in South American Countries" - Genetic data for variants of Plasmodium vivax across South America were obtained and statistic analyses were performed. Analysis was performed using population statistical packages, such as bcftools, PopGenome, ADMIXTURE etc. Results showed patterns that appeared to show differing levels of evolutionary pressure across multiple countries.
