      Climate Change and Conservation Intern

      Worked as a Climate Change and Conservation Intern in the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica, for 8 weeks. I spent over 330 hours engaging in conservation research, including field surveys and giving presentations to volunteers about climate change, survey introductions, and environmental justice. In addition to the internship, I executed an independent research project that involved interviewing locals to assess the climate resiliency of the area and if positive relationships with the environment affect levels of happiness and success. At the conclusion of the internship, I was leading turtle conservation, mammals, and amphibians and reptiles surveys. Show less
