  Responsible for the recruitment, day to day management of a team of three external and six internal business development consultants necessary to support the delivery of business support contracts to public and private sector clients including; North West Development Agency and Bank of AmericaI secured a cocktail of funding including; BESS, UK Business Incubators and Lloyds TBS Foundations in order to develop and deliver Business Incubator Units delivering business support and advice for start-up individuals wishing to develop their ideas into sustainable enterprisesI provided Line Management for an Enterprise Coach recruited to provide grass roots business support within disadvantaged communitiesI developed and delivered a social enterprise support programme, Thrive, in partnership with Bank of America which provided mentoring and business support for over 20 social enterprises a year over a four year period. In order to involve stakeholder effectively with this programme I established a monitoring panel which consisted of representatives of; Bank of America, Morgan Foundation, The Key Fund, Economic Development Cheshire West and Cheshire and Cheshire East Councils and Chester University. This programme was designed to support social enterprise to achieve sustainability through trading activity. Much of the work completed involved preparing organisations for investment through organizations such as the Key FundSupported the development of an Independent School providing educational and developmental opportunities for young people who were excluded, or facing exclusion, from mainstream educationI represented BTC on the Cheshire and Warrington Social Enterprise Executive, The Development Trusts’ Association Regional Board for the North West and sat on the judging panel for the Morgan Foundation Awards (social Enterprise category) Show less
