  Senior member of the school, responsible for the management, support and strategic direction of two schools and a 6th FormThe incorporation of the Chafford Hundred Campus into The Harris Federation lead to two objectives: - 1. realigning the Academy ICT with Harris Federation standards.2. the migration or integration of existing ICT services to the Federation services.Objective 1 was achieved by: -* Upgrading the network infrastructure (wireless,switching, routing and firewalls) with CISCO units.* Migrating from XP to Windows 7.Objective 2 required: -* Migration of users and data to the Federation domain.* Migration and upgrade of Microsoft servers from Server 2003 to Server 2008.* Migration of virtualisation platform from VMware to Microsoft Hyper-V.* Migration of 'Core' Services (MS Exchange, Finance, Personnel, website) to centralised solution.* Migration of IT Management and utilities (Anitvirus, backup, broadband, Inventory).Close liaison with contractors on a 6th Form development.BAU support still required for the Secondary and the Primary schools.Harris Academy Chafford Hundred is consistently one of the highest performing secondary schools in Thurrock/Harris Federation/the country.
