I used my time at Delta College to take most of the required general education classes for my transition to the University of Michigan - Flint. During my time here, I achieved the highest academic award given by the institution, the President's Award in Honor's.

      I started here in April 2011 as a regular crew member in the kitchen of the restaurant. In January of 2013 I was promoted to Crew Chief. In this position, it was my job to manage the kitchen crew by myself at times and make sure everything ran smoothly.

      I was chosen by one of my professors to lead a study group and become a tutor for an honors Western Civilization history combined with an honors English course. I led a study group for students in the course and also became a certified tutor for the subject at the college.

      During my time at Morley, I was a customer service representative for General Motors Roadside Assistance. People would call in when they were broken down on the side of the road anywhere in the United States or Canada. It was our job to make sure they were safe and to get assistance out to them as soon as possible. In January of 2014 I was promoted to the Escalations Team for General Motors Roadside Assistance. This was a supervisor position in which we handled the most extreme cases.

My job includes advocating for new tools (IDz, XL Release, zUnit), processes (DevOps, Agile) and anything else that can help make our mainframe developers jobs better. I also am a member of the IT training team and assist in on boarding new IT associates looking to begin their mainframe career. Developing Mainframe applications for one of our common functions teams and producing code used across the entire IT division. Used tools like IDz, ISPF, and DB2 on a daily basis.
