My first rotation included 8 months in Field Operations at the San Diego County Operations Center, a 5-year LEED Gold & Platinum new construction campus development where I learned the importance of safety, quality, and time. I undertook the responsibilites of an Assistant Superintendent.The next 8 months I had the opportunity to work in Project Management on several Healthcare Remodels focusing on document control, participating in owner's meetings, preparing meeting minutes, payment applications, change orders, etc. I was committed to the following projects: -OSHPD 3 Renovation including Infusion Center, Pharmacy, & Lab -Sterile Processing Department Remodel -Rad Room Remodels. -NPC4 Building Upgrade -Replacement of 87 Patient Doors I completed the Career Start program in our estimating department pursuing new projects, analyzing scopes, preparing detailed takeoffs, communicating with subcontractors, building preliminary schedules, and assisting with site logistics.
