  Initially hired by California Traditions as a temporary administrative assistant, I quickly rose within the company, and was promoted to Project Manager within one year of my employment. I developed my contracting skills (negotiations, bid review, contract issuance, payment and construction scheduling, scope definition, compliance noticing, warranty claims, and invoice/change order approval), while managing purchasing, contracting, customer service, sales and escrow, and event coordination for corporate activities and project PR initiatives. I prepared corporate communications and enhanced customer service through complaint handling training and 200-page warranty manual design. I tackled a variety of marketing projects, including web and brochure design, and managed outsourced project marketing activities. When problems became apparent with our option sales program, I redesigned the program, created extensive feature books to be used as a sales aid, and took over the sales function, increasing profits by 300%, resulting in $2 million in unexpected profits during a two-year period. I utilized accounting proficiency during invoice review and project closeout reconciliation processes, and handled legal compliance for the sales and escrow departments.
