To achieve this, it was required to (re)use granular, trusted integrated data, such as financial, operational, and commercial data, and also external parties with sometimes very short and difficult decision windows. In particular, concerning the data-driven exceptions handling of disrupted supply chains and the derived obscene amount of permutations (ripple effects) of all links and nodes (ocean and inland options) considered as relevant next best alternatives for both provider and customer.Various systemic risk impact disruptions are happening more frequently, and continuously calculating the total ripple effect(s) throughout the total network of nodes and links (ocean and inland) was more important than ever.
