Took GPS points at all stations. Took zooplankton tows on nearshore stations. Organized digital copies of field notebooks and other data sheets. Assisted with loading and unloading the boat. Currently assisting with data entry into a database using Microsoft Access.

      Inform and educate boaters in Superior, WI about Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) as part of the Clean Boats Clean Waters program. Assist boaters with checking and draining their boats as well as loading and unloading boats. Understand and be able to explain various AIS in Lake Superior and surrounding inland waters. Explain the importance of the AIS Laws to boaters. Assist with removal and detection of AIS at various inland lakes and tributaries. Assist with "Power of Plants" grant by building raised beds and planting native plants at various locations in Superior, Red Cliff and Ashland. Maintain and monitor newly planted plants at locations.
