  Brighton, Hove and Sussex Sixth Form College (BHASVIC) is a state funded, modern and vibrant Sixth Form College providing education to more than 3700 students from Sussex. The college is known for its strong academic results and commitment to student success, with a focus on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. BHASVIC was awarded an "Outstanding" grade by Ofsted in December 2022 and continues to be recognized as one of the top sixth form colleges in the UKI was elected as a Parent Governor in 2021, appointed as Vice-Chair in Dec 2022 and then appointed as Co-Chair of Governors in July 2023. During this time I have served on the Audit and Risk Management Committee, the Search and Governance Committee and routinely attend Resources and Quality and Curriculum Committees as well as chairing the Corporation Meeting.   Chair - Strategic Public and Community Advisory Group

  The Sussex Health and Care Research Partnership has been created to develop a system wide research strategy and delivery plan that includes all Sussex health and care partners working collaboratively. This new partnership will enable the realisation of the benefits research offers for the Sussex population, the workforce, the health and care system and the economy. As Chair of the Strategic Public and Community and Advisory Group, my role has been to lead a diverse team of Public Advisors to ensure public and patient input into the strategy and build a network with the many and varied public, patient and community representative groups in Sussex.I am a full member of the Sussex HCRP Governing Board and Executive Committee.
