  Working with children and families within the Children with Disabilities Social Care Team, in school and home settings. Specialist skills working with children with Autism, ADD and ADHD. Key duties included designing and implementing behaviour strategies to support positive change during periods of crisis within a time focused framework. Often children were expressing challenging behaviours such as violence towards parents or displaying distress. One example: helping a caregiver during a period of crisis whilst her son was excluded from school. I offered weekly direct work sessions with mother and son to support their relationship, then assisted the transition to a new SEND school.
