Responsibility increased in time up to Winder operator when was responsible for winder crew and quality off winder to be shipped to customer. As asst. crew-leader(dry end) was responsible rest of crew and reel condition and quality sent to winder our off machine coater. As crew-leader(wet end) was responsible for operation of wet end,stock flows,quality and the rest of the crew. I also have very extensive experience lock out tag out with the ability and training to execute and build lock out procedures. Also extensive Hazmat training over the course of my career. Show less

  Hired October 13 1981 Westvaco Corporation. Mill became MeadWestvaco Corporation in 2002, then NewPage Corporation in 2004 and finally Verso Corporation in 2015. In November 2015 mill was idled. My last day to work was November 15 2015(lay off), Mill will be permanently shut down on or about July 1 2016.
