  During my time at A1 Linen, I was a senior member of staff who worked closely with the manager. Any decisions on the business, small or big, were ran through me by the manager or any other seniors for my feedback. While the manager was away, I was frequently put in charge of the business in which I had to organise and delegate the staff members and keep things ticking.I also tried to make the business run a lot more efficiently, and full permission to do so. I rerouted delivery times and routes for the delivery men to spend less time driving and reduce fuel consumption, and I changed the lunch schedule for different departments on different days to help everything run at an optimal level.I also had some office orientated roles whilst working at this placement. I held regular phone-call conversations with clients regarding enquiries, deliveries and negotiations, as well as taking phone-calls on behalf of the manager. Another important role I had in the office was the utilization of my Microsoft Office skills, as I regularly and to overview customer invoices on Microsoft Excel, preparing proposals on Microsoft Powerpoint and devising letters for clients on Microsoft Word.
