      Managed the operations and oversaw the implementation of the JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) Program, one of the largest educational exchange programs in the world, at the prefectural level. 1) Supervised the daily operations of the program, coordinating 60 offices and 110 participants from over 15 countries--collaborated closely with Japanese counterparts to efficiently carry out program objectives and partnered with municipal government offices to ensure participants' satisfaction2) Advised the government and educational community throughout the prefecture on inter-cultural communication (work culture and ethics in Europe and North America) and conflict resolution (mediation and crisis management)3) Translated over 200 documents in the fields of science, technology, government and business and interpreted for the Governor, and other prominent officials on over 100 occasions at international conferences and events, including the UNESCO World Heritage Summit Show less
