  PKIoverheid is the name for the Public Key Infrastructure designed for trustworthy electronic communication within and with the Dutch government. To reach this goal a national PKI certificate hierarchy has been created. This national hierarchy consists of multiple roots and domains CAs each having Trust Service Providers (TSPs, formely CSPs)below them as issuing CAs. Logius supports the Dutch Minister of Interior and Kingdom Relations with the management and control of the PKIoverheid system. PKIoverheid is managed by the Policy Authority. Working activities were more focused on designing and operation of monitoring systems, looking ahead at future designs and support of the activities carried out in my previous function. Working activities were, amongst others, managing day to day operations for the PA, including prep and witness for key ceremonies, managing the Certificate Policy (PoR) and Certificate Practice Statement (CPS), Service Delivery Management with suppliers, keeping in contact with internal and external stakeholders and keeping track of internal and external developments that can influence the PKIoverheid system like browser agendas, IETF and CA/Browser Forum.
