I will ultimately be ending my experience in the defense of my Masters thesis in 2025.

      I oversee the logistical, supply, and acquisition functions for the 1-224th AVN BN. I ensure the smooth operation of over 500 personnel and support their missions through providing the logistical support they need. I lead a team of 5 logistics SMEs to work with my customers to ensure they get the resources needed to create the impact my leadership wants. Currently I am leading an acquisitions project to obtain several $1.5 million dollar pieces of equipment through securing funding for equipment movement and training. I also develop the property and accountability program for my organization, working with local leaders to assist with inventory tracking and auditing to ensure full accountability of over $1.2 Billion in government assets. Show less Aviation Operations: Manage the day to day operations of an organization of 24 personnel to receive, plan, and execute a variety of missions and taskings to drive the Army's success. When planning these missions, I worked closely with stakeholders from a variety of fields including the intelligence and direct action communities to ensure customer inclusion and satisfaction. Most importantly, I could not have done my job with out the mentorship of some awesome SME's including my Senior Pilot - Josh Chason and Senior Flight Engineer - Mike Landauer giving me their advice on how to best steer my organization. Aviation Maintenance Project Management; I'm responsible for $304 mil in government assets and oversee and mentor an organization of 23 personnel, all with the purpose of giving our pilots the safest and most efficient tools to achieve success. When not working as ground leadership, I fly the CH-47 "Chinook" cargo helicopter to support deliberate and logistical Army ground operations. Secret Clearance. Show less Utilizing a $15 million mobile laboratory known as an NBC Stryker, I was tasked to find, survey, sample, record, track, cordon and report any instances of Chemical, Biological, Radiological or Nuclear weapons as well as Toxic Industrial Chemicals/Materials in both military and civilian settings. When not utilizing the Stryker, I lead a CBRN dismounted reconnaissance team of 2 other soldiers into identified locations to extract samples of possible CBRN contamination or evidence of CBRN terrorism as well as conduct disaster recovery of civilians and trapped/down personnel. I alternated as the CBRN-FEMA liaison to ensure communication channel remained open and fluid as well as providing my expertise and knowledge of field operations to leaders on the ground.Additionally, I created and follow SOPs and classes on advanced equipment to ensure a working standard among soldiers. I managed 3 – 8 soldiers on a daily basis but led up to 40 to complete larger tasks and assignments. Show less

My personal successes include suggesting and implementing new waste stream management protocols , saving a client hundreds of dollars in the short term and potentially thousands over the next contract period. Our current portfolio includes the EM/HS Planning Program for the entire State of Maryland, Radiological Emergency Preparedness Program, and Threats and Hazards Identification Risk Analysis Program. We conduct planning, trainings, exercises for efforts around the State and NCR, and are SMEs that are called upon during a variety of disasters to develop planning solutions for incident response. I also spearhead the development of the Preparedness Branches Knowledge Management processes and technology's, providing proof of concepts and effective processes to integrate across the organization.
