  ECOCAR is a multi-year competition that is currently comprised of 15 universities/teams. The PCM sector of the organization (of which I am a part) is responsible for developing and integrating all propulsion-related controls. First Year: Over the course of the first year, I have familiarized myself with MATLAB, Simulink, CANBUS, and MILHILSIL practices. This included utilizing Simulink to model various drive cycles while encompassing sponsored components for the Cadillac Lyriq.   System Validation Engineer

  "responsible for developing test plans and executing validation activities to ensure our systems meet our customer and internal requirements."-Familiarized with accelerated life test of Electric EDUs where I: created a formal 20+ slide PowerPoint, created a technical Visio drawing of test setup with BOM(bill of materials) included, and analyzed real data from tests using CANape -Executed 2 system level audits of large managerial documents known as DVPRs which administer over 90+ tests of electric EDUs and associated parts-Drafted and implemented new managerial documentation requirements for excel sheets housing over 90+ tests -Developed new macros (VBA) within Excel that automated procedures of daily audits which reduced total time spent to complete by 10 mins (40%)During my time at AAM, I had the pleasure of observing real-time testing and test troubleshooting in person. Additionally, I shadowed another associate who worked in the System Requirements department which allowed me to understand the engineering process as a whole in industry and gave me a consumer-minded perspective on developing a product.
