  As a revenue accountant, my role involves reconciling and reporting accurate revenue for approx. 450 car parks throughout AU & NZ, developing a system that integrates with Secure Parking's existing operating and financial systems to automatically match transactions, identify discrepancies, and generate the journals according to business rules and reflect accurate revenue reports & P&L through Finance One.Setting up new financial reconciliation system which was part of Voyager project at Secure Parking. It is a software solution designed to automate and streamline the process of reconciling financial transactions and accounts related to parking operations. By implementing a financial reconciliation system, we could improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in managing the online booking transactions and casual drive-up parking transactions into financial data, leading to better decision-making.Key features of such a project may include real-time data synchronisation, automated matching algorithms, customisable reconciliation rules, exceptional handling capabilities, audit trails, and reporting functionalities.Ultimately, the goal of this project and my role was to enhance the overall financial management process within Secure Parking, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
