  IEMA Response Team for COVID 19

  As a contracted partner of the Illinois Emergency Management Agency I participated in the 2020 COVID-19 response to the McCormick Alternate Care Facility (Convention Center) in Chicago. My primary responsibilities were assisting healthcare professionals with donning and doffing PPE for entry into and out of the "Hot Zone" as well as decontamination of PPE equipment. With a team of healthcare professionals additional duties included intake triage of patients for admission to the MACF. On release from that assignment, I was detailed to the Jack Mabley Development Center in Dixon, Illinois for direct patient care of COVID-19 stricken residents. Show less
