      On a daily basis I worked with 200+ staff members in 30 cities around the world to enhance AJC's mission - safeguarding and strengthening Jews and Jewish life worldwide by promoting democratic and pluralistic societies that respect the dignity of all peoples. As global Jewish advocates, we campaigned on immigration reform, energy security, peace in the Middle East, and nuclear non-proliferation. I was proud to have passed legislation in California on the genocide in Darfur and electrification of vehicles and published OP-EDs and feature stories in major news outlets across the country. I also developed and edited the national monthly newsletter, coordinated national social media strategy, planned our annual conference, designed the end-of-year fundraising campaigns, and worked on the website development team. The results of my work include a doubling of our email list, a twelve-fold increase in social media followers, and over three-quarters of a million dollars raised in online gifts over the past three years. Move LA is a coalition-building nonprofit organization that led the effort to pass transformative mobility solutions through Measures R (2008) and M (2016) in LA County that fund public transit operations, capital projects, and maintenance. We build broad-based coalitions amongst diverse stakeholders seeking bold solutions to the biggest challenges facing the region—mobility, affordable housing, air quality, homelessness, and climate change. Our Advisory Board includes leaders from the labor, environmental, business, and nonprofit communities working collaboratively to find practical solutions and funding to create a more accessible, equitable, and sustainable region.
