      A key focus of this role was being responsible for creating off the shelf service contracts across Europe. I held full P&L for this, and managed and developed a UK based team. A significant part of the role was being responsible for all the internal and external communication of the Service department across Europe. This involved creating ‘push’ programmes such as internet and intranet, creating digital signage content and newsletters, through to ‘pull’ initiatives focusing on relationships, two way communications and Employee Engagement programmes.I also created Sony CSR programmes and developed Environmental awareness initiatives which cumulated in an Eco fair showing an internal audience the impact of Sony products. Also with CSR I was instrumental in the relaunch of the Sony volunteering programme and community donation scheme. Show less As a product manager I was responsible for the full marketing mix of the Service Contract business which delivered a 10x revenue increase to €10m. I worked with design agencies to create innovative collateral which was translated into 20+ languages. One key issue identified was that our sales team did not have the skills to sell service, and so I defined, created material and performed training for account managers throughout European operations which contributed to improved engagement and increased revenue.I was also a Video Journalist, creating content for Sony in house television channel. The content included product information and employee engagement pieces which were shown across all European sites. With the data I launched new service offerings providing one of the first recurring revenue streams in Sony. I also managed and developed the service brand ‘PrimeSupport’ which is still used today and is recognised as the leading support brand in the broadcast market.I created a sales ordering process for service products using SAP system which involved coming up with innovated solutions for a ‘box moving’ system to coped with intangible service products.I also became involved in Employee communication and Engagement and joined the UK Works Council.
