About me

Over the years, I’ve come to believe that entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful tools for social transformation, particularly in rural and underserved communities. My professional journey has been guided by this belief, and I’ve been fortunate to work at the intersection of entrepreneurship education, livelihood promotion, research, and community development. As an experienced Project Officer at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), I have led multiple government and CSR-supported projects that focus on empowering rural youth, women, and artisans through structured training, mentorship, and enterprise support. I’ve contributed to key initiatives like the Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana (DUY), Chhattisgarh Entrepreneurship Development Centre (CGEDC), the SIDBI-supported Livelihood Outreach Program, and Off-Farm Producer Organisation (OFPO) programs. These have enabled grassroots entrepreneurs to access markets, adopt digital tools, and build sustainable livelihoods. My work ranges from market feasibility studies and DPR preparation to cluster development and enterprise facilitation, often working closely with government departments, financial institutions, and community organizations. I bring with me a strong foundation in business development, strategic planning, CRM, and team leadership, underpinned by an academic background in Marketing (MBA) from Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. on “Entrepreneurial Intention among Artisans”, focused on traditional crafts clusters in Eastern Uttar Pradesh. This research blends my practical field experience with academic inquiry, aiming to inform more targeted and inclusive development policies. I see myself as a bridge between policy and practice, someone who believes in the potential of people and works to create systems that help them thrive. I’m always open to meaningful collaborations in the fields of CSR, rural enterprise development, livelihood programs, and entrepreneurship research.
