      In the PDPP complex, which was dedicated to Propylene Derivatives, I participated in a training program under the mentorship of seasoned chemical engineers. During the training, I had the opportunity to study in both the Acrylates unit and Oxo alcohol unit. Throughout the training program, I acquired the skills to interpret and create Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Moreover, I dedicated significant effort to studying the operating manuals, enabling me to develop a profound understanding of the plant's normal, startup, and shutdown procedures.The training further delved into extensive knowledge of various mass transfer equipment, such as distillation, liquid-liquid extraction, and cooling tower. I also gained familiarity with different types of heat transfer equipment. Additionally, I received instruction on utilizing various instruments, including flow meters and pressure and temperature measurement devices. Understanding the functioning of control valves and emergency shutdown valves, which play crucial roles in the production process, was also part of the training.As a result of the training, I gained significant hands-on experience in operating a Distributed Control System (DCS).This exposure allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, enhancing my overall understanding of chemical engineering principles and their practical applications in the petrochemical industry.
