  I worked as a fundraiser at Funscool. Funscool is a student designed and led summer program. I worked towards ensuring that the I along with the Funscool team raise enough funds for the programming for the school. Moreover, this role also encouraged me to reach out to people (local educators & politicians) for indirect support/sponsorship, for instance the venue for the program, additional resources required for the facilitator. Furthermore, I also launched an online crowdfunding page to increase reach and the credibility of the fundraising campaign, participated in a Stater Program (organized by The Circle) and won the Pitch competition to raise funds. Show less I worked as an Art instructor/ facilitator at Funscool. Funscool is a summer program designed and led by young adults of the community. Funscool aims to offer children an liberal and inclusive space to explore their passion(s). As an Art Facilitator I explore Visual Arts with children, which included paper art, painting through diverse colors and expressions, crafting and quilling, exploring a few forms of Art Mandala art, Madhubani art, warli art and shadow puppetry. Children engaging with Art rooted in Fun and Creativity with their hearts was my intention to facilitate this short Art cousre. Show less

  Learning Facilitator

  As a learning facilitator at Ummeed Organization (Teach For India Community Center) I served as a facilitator/instructor to enable secondary school children learn the basics of their academics. I taught science to 8th, 9th and 10th graders belonging to low-income private schools. I taught basic phonetics, literacy and comprehensions to young secondary grade children.

  Logistics Intern

  I worked as a logistics intern with The Circle Organization's School Incubation program - Induction module. I ensured that the logistical tasks and assignments required for the on ground programming of the training module are met. This included me to look after the logistics regarding accommodation, daily travel, resources and snacks. This required me to communicate with the accommodation and house keeping service, daily travel - bus/cab vendors, and the POC for the snacks and food providers.Moreover, this role offered me a space in be a part of the programming sessions of the school incubation program with The Circle Team, incubators, and educators.
