      - Constructed a thorough literature review regarding the effects of COVID-19 on the cardiovascular system and presented a research poster at the UCSD 2021 Online Undergraduate Research Symposium (OURS).- Critically assessed and synthesized the quality of 60+ published medical articles on COVID-19 and cardiology, contributing to the ongoing, novel research at the current moment.- Closely interviewed patients with end-stage organ failure (such as end-stage cancer, heart failure, and COPD) and evaluated 30-50 patient charts in the ED biweekly for palliative care clinical study eligibility, using REDCap for data.- Built strong patient rapport through empathetic interviews, ensuring optimal patient understanding of study goals and addressing concerns with compassion, enhancing patient cooperation and study integrity.
