  The Rural and Indigenous committee endeavours to to inform NAPSA members about opportunities available in rural and remote Australia. We challenge pharmacy students to look outside the square when considering employment options, and realise the world of fantastic opportunities and professional satisfaction rural pharmacy can offer. This committee liaises with the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia Rural Special Interest Group (RuralSIG), the Pharmacy Guild of Australia Rural Pharmacy Workforce Program, Department of Health and Ageing, the National Rural Health Students? Network (NRHSN) and Indigenous Allied Health Australia. Kellie has strong connection with the land as previous to study has been raised on a beef cattle farm in small rural indigenous rich town in NSW. Kellie is passionate about promoting rural and indigenous health and is always trying to find new and innovative ways to get people from the coast to the bush and experience what rural communities have to offer. She believed there is no greater sense of communion like that of rural towns. Show less
