  Brian was appointed Head of Programme Management Office on a £39m IT programme to develop the integrated train planning system (ITPS) for Network Rail. He created the PMO at the commencement of the programme, identifying and appointing the required staff resources to deliver programme office services. Following the success on the Network Rail programme, Brian was appointed the first Head of PMO across Selex SI UK. His brief was to create a centrally based PMO and introduce and manage the project control systems, processes and procedures across all major projects in the company.
