  In this position I acted as a mentor and support person to students of CALD, and disadvantaged backgrounds. I also assisted in the facilitation of activities that promoted personal development and self determination. As a research assistant my primary role was to develop resources to be used in the recruitment of research participants, and the collection and analysis of research data. During my time in this role I also conducted a literature review, applied for ethics approval, and developed resources to be used in the promotion of the study.
