      Leading a large team across a broad geographical remit including staff based in Wagga Wagga, Bathurst, Coffs Harbour, Newcastle, Canberra, Kiama, Merimbula and the Illawarra all of which are responsible for the strategic development, management and operation of all communityfootball leagues, clubs and Umpire groups across ACT and Regional NSW. Key focuses are developing and implementing strategies to manage and grow community competitions through facilitating quality community Club environments, umpiring pathways, and the most appropriate competition structures and pathways from junior to senior football. Another strong focus is utilising technology to provide best practice methods for clubs and leagues to continue to be the sporting benchmark within their communities. Each of these regions also oversees a casual development workforce. The Development workforce is the face of our game and is responsible for the day to day delivery of all AFL programs including: Schools, NAB AFL Auskick, Indigenous and Multicultural, All Ability, AFL 9s and Fan Engagement initiatives.Communications and Partnerships staff: Building growth and awareness of our game through the use of engaging and creative content through our online platforms including website and social media in turn providing opportunities to our fantastic partners to also utilise our broad fan base. More importantly including the upskilling and information sharing on best practice of our clubs and community leagues use of their own individual accounts and platforms.Administration staff: Financial/budget management, Customer service and HR. Show less In the role of Participation Manager AFL NSWACT - Southern NSW my role was to oversee all aspects of growth, engagement and brand awareness across the Albury/Murray, Riverina, MIA, Far West and Broken Hill regions through the delivery of tailored programs and initiatives. Examples of these programs included Primary and Secondary School, Indigenous and Multicultural, All ability, AFL 9s, and NAB AFL Auskick programs.
