      MENG Chemical Engineering with Biotechnology

      Activities and Societies: Salsa society, AfroCaribbean society (there was nothing in the constitution to say you had to be either African or Caribbean and I liked the food and the culture!), Campaigns officer for Crewe Flats, Contemporary Dance society. Chemical Engineering with Biotechnology focussed on the core elements of process engineering plus the interactions with biotech. With the moves towards Biopharm in last decade it has come in handy. My design project was around filtration methods of sugar beat and the final year research project was around the effect of water quality on electrolysis of water to disinfect endoscopes.
