      UCD Embark Award University College Dublin Careers Network May 2019 UCD students are given this award to acknowledge their extra-curricular achievements if they fill out an application detailing their involvement in UCD life with appropriate references. I was awarded this by the UCD Careers Network in May 2019 in recognition of my participation in debating with the UCD Literary and Historical Society.

      5th Highest Ranked Speaker in UCD Maidens Mace Debating Competition UCD Law Society and UCD Literary & Historical Society Mar 2019 Maidens Mace Debating Competition is a British Parliamentary style team debating competition for first year students ran by the UCD Law Society and the UCD Literary & Historical Society. At the end of the competiition, I was ranked jointly with another speaker in 5th place of the top ten speakers of the entire competition, which had an estimated 40 speakers in total, based on my average speaking points over six rounds.

Regional Final, my business partner and I's small company Tech Solutions went through to the National Final held in Mansion House, where we prepared a business plan in advance and then on the day manned a stand selling our products, gave a presentation to a panel of judges and answered their questions, were interviewed on the radio and featured in the Northside People newspaper, with me giving a one minute speech to a packed crowd about our business.
