  • To plan and coordinate with the other dept. for the preventive maintenance activities of utility equipments which include Transformer, LT/HT system(11kV/405V), compressor, HVAC system(Chiller ,AHUs, ACs).,ACBs, VCBs , Relays and UPS and for shutdown activities.• To understand, coordinate and plan utility services for any new line and machine set-up, project work,LT and HT modification, user requirements,revamp or expansion of utilities.• Review any breakdown activities, evaluate root cause, take necessary countermeasures and prepare MTTR and MTBF and MIS.• Led the plant in ISO 5001:2018 Recertification, proper involvements in other ISO standards related to Utility such as ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001.• Captain and Vice captain of the Energy Pillar in WCM(2019-2020), and WCM(2016-2019) respectively.• To review the electrical drawings for any new projects.• Adherence to compliance for the statutory requirements and government liasoning for utility dept.• To prepare and monitor the utility budget accordingly.• To ensure zero safety incident by adhering to safety guidelines and safe work practises, follow up, and improvements.• To manage manpower of 8 members and provide training to them.• To work towards achieving environmental sustainability by doing kaizens and energy conservation through cost benefit analysis.• To ensure availability of spares and plan AMCs and subsequently raising PRs using SAP.• To prepare, review and control all the SOPs/OPLs for utility at regular intervals.• To maintain housekeeping in the utility areas by driving 5S.• To coordinate with external suppliers for the project improvements and requirements.• To maintain the fire fighting system and water system.(RO plant, DM plant, ETP plant).• Monitor the daily energy consumption , prepare reports , prepare energy budgets and maximize energy performance through energy kaizens following WCM methodolgy.
