      Information Systems Engineer, responsible for the supervision and delegation of jobs to a small team of people, making sure that any task is carried out to the highest standard. Also being given problems, tasked with identifying a solution and the implementation of a plan to resolve the situation.Whilst serving in the Armed Forces managed and maintained various systems including Windows Server operating systems with Active Directory. These systems were in support of up to 500+ users each. Also had the opportunity to install and configure Cisco routers as well as maintaining these routers through many problematic situations.Some of my daily responsibilities comprise of:• Daily checks on all systems to see if any errors had occurred• Making sure that all backups had run successfully using Symantec backup exec• Checking ePolicy Orchestrator to ensure that the anti-virus was up to date• Re-imaging of workstations and servers• Monitoring What’s Up Gold and reacting to any errors that occurred on the systems/routers• Daily checks on all workstations and printers to ensure no errors had occurred• Keeping good contact with my users to ensure no issues occur.
