Main idea of the app: It was connected to a smart TV application in order to keep track of the user's viewing behavior. Monitoring viewing behavior was based on behavior change theories. Next to the tracking component, there was also an Entertainment component, providing the user with relevant information about TV shows and adding a social component by connecting with Facebook friends.       Academy for Digital EntertainmentMedia & GamesDigitally Enhanced RealitiesI coordinated many activities within Cradle, the research and development department of the Academy for Digital Entertainment. The team consists mostly out of game lectures, alumni and students, and our main focus is to develop and research innovative Virtual Reality products. I have been project manager of the Virtual Reality Jam (VR hackathon) of NHTV, an event where over a 100 students have been collaborating in groups to make virtual reality concepts in cooperation with Samsung. Furthermore, I have been co-lecturing and grading the technological module of the Master in Media Innovation, and in general I served as the bridge between media students and research activities. Also, I have presented my own research about binge-watching at the TVX16 Conference in Chicago in June 2016, and I took part in the "Innovation Talks: When academics decipher entertainment" at MIPTV 2017 in Cannes.
