  Responsible for ensuring compliance with all health, safety & environmental legislation and advising senior management on all health, safety and environmental issues .Responsible for carrying out and facilitation of risk assessments and writing safe systems of work, carrying out and supporting with accident investigation, staff training and communication of health & safety information. In addition I am responsible for writing various reports in relation to health & Safety performance. Within My role I am also responsible for overseeing all site maintenance and engaging with contractors on issues from general repairs to planned preventative maintenance and major CDM projects. Other key responsibilities within my current role are:• Providing support and advice to departmental managers and supervisors as well as colleagues and drivers.• Carry out internal audits and facilitate external audits.• Communicate with and assist enforcing authorities where necessary.• Carry out accident investigation and root cause analysis.• Training of site management developing capability in regard to health & Safety.• Devise and implement action plans and monitor progress of actions.• Devise, implement and maintain business continuity management plans.• Devise and implement safety processes which take into account the nature of the operation and with as little financial impact to the business as is necessary.• Promote and implement behavioural based safety across all departments.• Responsible person for site MHRA pharmaceuticals licence requiring a high level of quality control.• Management of environmental impacts of the business.• Reporting of health and safety performance to Operations Director and Bisuness Unit Vice President•Reporting of health & Safety, Quality, Environmental and Business Continuity Management KPI’s.• Attendance at national safety team meeting every 2 months.• Chair site level health & Safety committee meetings. แสดงน้อยลง
