  Data Analyst

  The aim of the Taurus project is to create a reclined bicycle which, during the Battle Mountain in Nevada, may be able to break the world speed record on a straight of 8 km. The department “Data Analysis and Performances”, to which I belong, has the main purpose of analysing the track tests focusing on certain parameters, for instance the size of the tyre or the sprint of the pilot, in order to constantly improve the different settings. Moreover, an important role is the one of the simulation, in which we recreate ad hoc scenarios that enable us to understand which improvements are needed and to what extent. Last, but not least, at the moment we are analyzing the data of some potential pilot girls, given that this year we will try to beat also the women's world record.Currently Taurus, with its 133.26 km/h, holds the Italian record, and it is 0.5 km/h off the European record.
