Sept 1998 - Jul 2001Jumps Coach with Varsity Track and FieldInherited a group of six keen pole vaulters and quickly built this into a large group of 22 athletes. This was a combination of male and female athletes, specializing in pole vault though there were a few other jumpers (long and triple jump). Numerous records were set in this group including regional, provincial and National. Most significant success was a National Jnr Record in men's pole vault. Athletes under my guidance played a pinnacle role in helping the men capture their only Men's National Title in the history of the University of Alberta. In addition, the marketing and infrastructure I created for the development of this unique sport helped support its continued programming at the University of Alberta today. Show less
