  Being a member of the Ukrainian Scout Organization “Plast” since 1993, in 2012 I served as a ProjectDirector for a 1-week outdoor gathering (aka Jamboree) hosting 2500 participants for the celebration ofthe organization’s 100th anniversary.Having joined the project at the very early stage, I organized a steering committee that consisted of 15 volunteers, each managing separate "service", such as: camping, entertainment, transportation, catering, etc. Being quite restricted in time, in 9 months we successfully did a complete path, which involved alignment on success criteria with project stakeholders, definition of goals and detailed planning for each of 15 teams, preparing for and eventually handling of the event.During the 1-week event itself, about 500 volunteers were involved - this is the size of the organized that I managed.
