Led several patrols in the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman that strengthened relations with regional allies, reduced the trafficking of weapons and narcotics, and reenforced freedom of the seas. Oversaw extensive maintenance availabilities that increased the ship's readiness and, ultimately, enabled a smooth decommissioning of the ship and its transition to the Philippine Navy for continued operations.
